Hezlin's POV
I sat on my bed, wearing my soft pink floral dress as warm sunrays streamed through my window. Taking a sip of my vanilla latte, I smiled to myself.
"Hmm... I'll definitely finish writing my 26th chapter today! I still have to type this whole thing on my laptop too!!"
I suddenly felt heat rise to my cheeks as I looked at my own handwritten story.
"Ahhhh... there comes my favorite line..."
"You really think I'd let you go? My little cupcake... you belong to me."
"AGHHHHH!!!!!! Goddddd!!!! Rehan is soooo hotttt!!!! No wonder he's written by meee!!"
As I was about to turn the page and continue writing, I heard a soft knock on my door. I already knew who it was.
"Yes, Mumma! Come in!!" I called out.
My mom walked in with a gentle smile.
"Hezlin, baccha, if you want, you can lock your door properly because your dad's business partner is coming today, so there'll be a lot of noise."
I looked at her, a little annoyed.
"Aghhh, yaar, Mumma... I'll go sit in the garden on the flower swing."
My mom smiled warmly.
"As you wish, jaan."
I got up and headed downstairs. As I reached the front door, I suddenly collided with something hard.
I looked up and found myself staring into a pair of ocean-blue eyes locked onto my honey-colored ones.
I quickly took a step back.
"I... I'm sorry. I didn't mean to..."
Without waiting for a reply, I quickly slipped past him and walked outside.

Zamir's POV
I knew I needed to talk to Mr. Sarwar about the shares, but I also knew I'd have to manipulate him.
A smirk tugged at my lips.
And I surely will.
I got out of my car and entered the house. The moment I stepped inside, I suddenly felt a small, soft figure collide with my chest.
I looked down...
My breath caught in my throat.
Her honey-colored eyes stared into my ocean-blue ones. Her soft hair framed her delicate face, and the faint fragrance of jasmine lingered around her.
"Inni haseen ankhein... inme dub jaaun... ya fanaah ho jaaun?" I thought to myself.
Before I could say a word, she spoke in her soft voice, snapping me back to reality.
"I... I'm sorry. I didn't mean to..."
I silently watched her walk away after mumbling an apology.
A smile found its way onto my lips.
Then, just as quickly...
I slipped my cold mask back into place.
